MiraMind is designed with privacy at its core. Your voice diary entries are stored locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal journal content.

MiraMind is operated from the United Kingdom. For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, we are the data controller.

2. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

We do not collect, access, or store:

• Your voice recordings
• Your diary transcriptions
• Your personal thoughts or entries
• Your photos or custom backgrounds
• The content of your journal in any form

Your diary stays on your device, where it belongs.

3. INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT

To provide and improve the App, we may collect limited, non-personal information:

a) Analytics Data

We may collect anonymous usage statistics such as:

• App opens and session duration
• Features used (not content)
• Crash reports and performance data
• Device type and operating system version

This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you or access your diary content.

b) Purchase Information

If you subscribe to MiraMind Premium, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment details, credit card information, or billing address. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status.

4. HOW YOUR DATA IS STORED

All diary entries, voice recordings, and transcriptions are stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage. This data is:

• Never uploaded to our servers
• Never shared with third parties
• Never used for advertising
• Protected by your device's security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)

If you delete the App, your diary data is permanently deleted from your device.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App may use the following third-party services:

a) Apple App Store

Handles all payment processing for premium subscriptions. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

b) RevenueCat

Manages subscription status. RevenueCat receives only an anonymous identifier to track subscription validity, not your personal information or diary content. RevenueCat is based in the United States and complies with applicable data transfer requirements. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

c) Speech Recognition

Voice-to-text transcription may use on-device processing or Apple's speech recognition services, depending on your device and settings. When Apple's services are used, audio may be processed by Apple subject to their Privacy Policy. We recommend enabling on-device speech recognition in your device settings for maximum privacy.

6. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Some third-party services we use (such as RevenueCat and Apple) may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including:

• Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the UK Information Commissioner's Office
• Adequacy decisions where applicable
• Binding corporate rules of the service providers

7. DATA SHARING

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.

8. DATA RETENTION

Since your diary content is stored only on your device, you control how long it is retained. We do not retain your diary content.

• Delete All Data: Uninstalling the App permanently removes all your data.

• Export Data: You can export your diary entries for personal use.

11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

MiraMind is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

12. DATA SECURITY

We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data.

Since your diary content remains on your device, its security is primarily protected by your device's own security features. We strongly recommend:

• Using a device passcode
• Enabling Face ID or Touch ID
• Keeping your device software updated

13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy in the App or on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date.
